Professionally produced by the renowned Festival Players Theatre Company, since its first performance in Lamyatt, the all-male cast has entertained over 3,000 people in Somerset.
Our first 'Shakespeare in Lamyatt' outdoor performance in the garden at Speeds Farm took place in 2011, the brainchild of hosts Simone and David Ash. A small volunteer team came together to create an event to raise funds for the upkeep of Lamyatt’s 13th century church and the redevelopment of its village hall.
